"Everything we need and more"

Reviewer: Randy White

What do you like best?

While features like the import, tagging, templates, etc are critical for proposal development and extremely helpful in daily activities, I find the summary view in Manage Response Projects my goto screen first thing in the morning. In under a minute, I can quickly get a snapshot of each project’s status, where potential bottlenecks may occur, what projects are on schedule, what projects are behind, etc.

This view hold people accountable to assigned tasks.

What do you dislike?

The import can be a little finicky when working with tables in word. Other than that, it is just a matter of adapting existing process to work with RFPIO.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are considering RFPIO, don’t wait for the “right time”. We implemented RFPIO in the middle of 10= plus proposals. We saw immediate positive results. All account executives have complete buy in as well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Time management and proper collaboration. While we had a central repository of data for executives to access when responding to technical matrices, it has always been a challenge to keep data current and consistent for executives to access. RFPIO enables us to create one central, pre-approved database of answers.

My first kick at the can using RFPIO showed a 70% reduction in development time. That’s the beauty of RFPIO. You don’t need to know every detail of the product before use. You can jump right in and see immediate value in your first project.
